Apple Release New Security Features

Security Update 2010-001 is available via the software update mechanism in Mac OS X. In addition to updating Mac OS X, Apple also released an update for users of Boot Camp software. According to records provided, Boot Camp 3.1 update adds support for Microsoft's Windows 7 (Home Premium, Professional, and Ultimate).

Boot Camp allows users to create a partition on the Mac and install Windows. Unlike virtualization applications like Parallels or VMware Fusion. Boot Camp users must restart their computer before running Windows.

Apple Bought Mobile Advertising Company

The agreement was announced Quattro through their blogs, without mention of their selling price. Apple spokeswoman also refused to mention their price range as proposed to remove the Quattro. But The Wall Street Journal reported, Apple never mentioned it to offer USD275 million worth of payments to the Quattro.

Broadpoint analyst Brian Marshall called Amtec collaboration between Apple and the Quattro is a sale and purchase agreement transaction is very good. Moreover the agreement between the two Apple needs in acquiring small technology companies that add to the completeness of their business.

Marshall also said the agreement is a sign of increasingly intense competition between Apple and the internet search engine giant Google.

"It is obvious that Apple and Google continue their rivalry. It's all about mobile advertising presented through smart phone. They're trying to maximize their clappers who created the online channels," Marshall said as quoted by AFP on Wednesday (6/1/2010).

Both Apple and Google both have a great chance to rule this land. As we all know, Apple's iPhone is now a hit while Google's Android platform was successful with consumer interest in the smart phone market share. Even earlier this week, Google has just released a phone called the iPhone competitors Nexus One and decided to sell directly to consumers.

Whether intentional or not, Apple's acquisition of the Quattro coincided with the release of Nexus One moment. This event seemed to announce to the public that they seriously compete in the mobile advertising arena.

Quattro is a competitor admob, mobile advertising company Google acquired in November ago for USD750 million. Before you buy Google, Apple was reportedly struggling to get admob.
